Woa... Your directors are way over specd (which is nice)
I think someone mentioned recently that a PII400 can handle 100MB/s of
NAT traffic..
In general any modern hardware can handle what you throw at it..

DR on Win2k real Servers is as follows
Add the M$oft loopback adpater
Configure it with your VIP
untick MS Networking
untick File & Print Sharing
go to advanced set the priority to 254
Unless you are doing funny routing & or M$oft cross domain file sharing
you shouldn't need to manualy delete the routes to the VIP.
