Sorry, about that! 

I am using version 1.0.4. The data loss is seen when we try to run a DB
query on a web front end. The request times out on the LVS, but once we
try the same code on the same DB on our staging server (no LVS) it
works.

What version of LVS are you using?  How are you measuring your data
loss?
