Thanks for those numbers.
The idea is intriguing, but a benefit/cost ratio of 0.3/2.2 (two
machines, slightly more difficult to setup) is not very good yet. I'd
assume a faster card in the one director (maybe channel bonded GigE?) +
SMP or so would be more efficient.
