Although there is no compiling problem, it's probably good to add "#ifdef
CONFIG_IP_VS" for external function prototype of IPVS in the
linux_ip_fw_compat_c.diff.

Yes, the only reason to have those is for future 2.5.x inclusion of LVS.

I'd really like to see it happens one day.

Of course I only have the ok of the netfilter core guys but that's the most important part. The rest is completely CONFIG_IP_VS dependant und only adds additional code to the core kernel. Please read the following email:
