Hello,

What's the LVS related question?

I'm trying to set a secure connection with sftp, so using the port 22.
The connection is not estabilished, and I miss something to understand
if the problem is mine or on the other side.

I run tcpdump on my machine, getting this line repeated:

19:52:21.767779 eth1 > web1.804 > 10.6.57.75.ssh: S
2981754508:2981754508(0) win 32120 <mss 1460,sackOK,timestamp 25554486
0,nop,wscale 0> (DF) (ttl 64, id 21285)

Please post more then just one line and use 'tcpdump -i eth1 -n -v tcp and port 22'. It is important to see the other lines too to figure out what kind of retransmission is occurring.

I never get the ack to my SYN packet.

packet filter rules? wrong routing? network cable not attached? no sshd running on the client?

Is it enough to understand which side has problems on getting the
connection?

I'm afraid it is not. Also a simple sketch of the network would be very helpful.

Best regards,
Roberto Nibali, ratz
