First of all, I am an absolute newbie, pls don't hesitate hitting me hard if I
am asking a stupid question ;)
I have successfully setup my first LVS-NAT environment, consisting of 3 boxes.
2 of them are running linux w/apache (lvs1 and lvs2), and the third one is
running winxp w/ tomcat (lvs3). All three boxes are acting as realserver, with
one linux box (lvs1) acting as the director also, using the localnode method. I
am using the "configure" script, with the NAT_ONE_NIC_TWO_NETWORK template.
Basically, this setup is working fine, as clients would connect to each of the
realservers in turn. But the problem is, if a request is being dispatched to
lvs2, which is a pure realserver, there will be a few second's delay before the
connection is made. On the other hand, requests dispatched to lvs1 and lvs3
don't have this problem.
I also tested them with telent. The problem is about the same, the login prompt
will not pop up until after 5 seconds, but after that, the connection speed
seem to be the as fast as that on other realservers.
I read the mini-howto, there is some related info at the end, but I think I
still need some more help.
Regards
Michael
