hi all
i have tested the lvs(kernel 2.4.18+ipvs-1.0.9+ipvsadm-1.21) performance on
2 different IA platform by Benchmark Factory:
1 dual way xeon 2.4G MHz cpu,1G memory ,linux(up mode) os
2 single P4 2.4G MHz cpu,512M mermory ,linux os
the other testing environment is same.
the result is the P4+512M mem performance is better than the dual way xeon+1g
mem,but i think the xeon+1g mem's performance should be better. why? is there
relationship with the linux up mode?
thanks
tao
