HOST2 has lo:0 configured with Floating IP on eth1 ie 206.131.250.3. And it thinks that 206.131.250.3 belongs locally that's why it is not able to reply to requests from 206.131.250.3 (HOST1). How can this behaviour be changed ?

Hi everyone,

I am still struggling to get it working. My setups is as follows,

200.100.250.1 (eth0) 200.100.250.2 (eth0)
                                               200.100.250.3
                                       (Floating IP on eth0:0)
----------------- -------------- | HOST1 | | HOST2 | ----------------- ---------------
                                               10.100.250.3
                                       (Floating IP on eth1:0)
10.100.250.1 (eth1) 10.100.250.2 (eth1)

I am using 2.4.24 with the http://www.ssi.bg/~ja/hidden-forward_shared-2.4.20-3.diff.

I am not able to ping 200.100.250.2 from 200.100.250.3. Because of this ldirectord removes 200.100.250.2 from list of real servers.

host1# ping 200.100.250.2 -I 200.100.250.3 (no replies)

host1# ping 200.100.250.2 -I 200.100.250.1 (replies)

Can ldirectord be configured to check real server from some other IP (200.100.250.1 in my case)?

I am in a fix, please help.

Regards,
Anshul

Cheers,
Anshul
