I use my www.____.com as the loadbalancer and then have my 5 web servers
as A.____.com, B.____.com in my DNS, when I need to test one server I just
hit it using A.____.com or which ever one I need to test. I've set up my
servers that even if somebody uses A, B, C.... it will work, there will
only be a problem when I take one server down, in which case I tell them
they should be using the WWW name.

Sorry for this basic question, and really not a LVS.

But to do this, would I use iptables?

So I this what you did??
/sbin/iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp -i eth0 -d xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
                                  --dport 8888 -j DNAT --to 192.168.0.2:80
/sbin/iptables -A FORWARD -p tcp -i eth0 -d 192.168.0.2 --dport 80 -j
ACCEPT

Hi,

I setup a port forward from a high number to the port 80 on each of my
real
servers and then use that to do my testing.
