I'm trying to set up a LVS cluster, and I'm starting by putting on the LVS kernel. Once I've done that, I can't ping the server. Is that the expected behaviour? The mini-HOWTO says, "Any setup procedure (including the configure script) will assume that you have already setup all IPs and network connections ... and that the link layer joining these IPs is functioning." My concern is that, following the installation of the LVS kernel, I no longer have a functional link layer. Thanks |
