On suse 9.2 I get the following error when building rpm from spec

Any idea how to remedy .

Sorry about that.  I've posted the patch here:

http://www.strangecargo.org/~bdb/keepalived-1.1.8.bdb1.patch.gz

I've just verified that it patches keepalived cleanly against 1.1.8, so you shouldn't have any problem applying it now.
