I forgot to mention that on both nodes i have the daemon running. This on
both nodes:

# ipvsadm -ln --daemon
master sync daemon (mcast=eth1, syncid=23)
backup sync daemon (mcast=eth1, syncid=23)

Is that what i did by running the daemon in both master and backup mode, or
is there something else i must do?
