Question about Direct Routing Configuration

Hi,

I am intending to implement LVS via Direct routing for my company and my 
Linux Kernel
is 2.6.x.

I have viewed this page
http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/VS-DRouting.html

which lists the instructions for configuration but I can't find anything 
on Kernel 2.6.x.
Do I just follow the 2.4.x instructions for patching my kernel and 2.2.x 
instructions for
configuration?
