The two directors (active/passive) must have the same configuration
(but beware about names of the nodes and, of course @IP). Just follow
the given howto straigforward, and it will just works (thank's againg
to Ultramonkey guys who've done an excellent job!).
If something seems to be wrong, have a look on
/var/log/{messages,daemon,syslog}
as, most of the time, you'll find there which typo erros you've done in
which
script/config file :)
For a realserver not director, configuration is simplier : no heartbeat
for
ldirectord, just IP tuning & virtual IP address on loopback.
Please, give more information about your setting and in which step you
are
before encountering which error, for us to help you better.
