This all seems to work. I am curious if using iptables to handle

to the outside world since I am using NAT or can the IPVS handle this?
If clients on the realservers need access to the outside
world independantly of any of the packet flows associated
with the LVS, then look in the HOWTO in the section on
3-Tier backend machines. That will show you how to connect
to the outside world securely.
