TCP tuning with LVS-NAT

I'm investigating problems on a load balancer set up by long-departed
staff.  Some tcp tuning has been added to the box and I'd appreciate any
comments on how sensible (or not) these settings are:

 tcp_fin_timeout 2
 tcp_syncookies 1
 tcp_synack_retries 2
 tcp_syn_retries 1
 tcp_max_syn_backlog 10000
 tcp_keepalive_probes 2
 vs/secure_tcp 1
