Hi,
I have a scenario in which LVS is in different network than VIP,
so using LVS-TUN is only possible solution!
I'm not quite sure what you think here. The VIP is a public
IP, while the RIPs are usually private IPs (eg 192.168/16),
in all forwarding methods of LVS. There are different
restrictions for the IPs in the RIP network for
LVS-NAT/Tun/DR, but I can't tell that you need LVS-Tun from
what you say.
Using LVS I want to switch betwen Tomcats installed on Solaris 10.
Does anybody have any experience with configuration of IP tunnels
between Linux 2.6 and Solaris 10.
Last I looked (before Solaris 10), Solaris didn't have IPIP.
There is a PPT presentation I found in google that mentions
IPIP in a diagram but that's all.
