Hi.

I've just recently started using LVS (working fine) and I want to add
ldirectord to it.

I can't work out how to install ldirectord :(

http://www.vergenet.net/linux/ldirectord tells me the current version is
available from CVS

http://www.vergenet.net/linux/ldirectord/cvs.shtml tells me to download by
cvsweb or by guest cvs login

I've tried both of these and I get the following files:

-rw-r--r-- 76 2004-09-28 15:37 .cvsignore
drwxr-xr-x 4096 2006-08-24 16:14 CVS/
-rw-r--r-- 1337 2006-08-15 13:32 Makefile.am
-rw-r--r-- 741 2000-10-25 17:56 README
drwxr-xr-x 4096 2006-08-24 16:14 init.d/
-rw-r--r-- 7329 2006-08-15 08:41 ldirectord.cf
-rw-r--r-- 111706 2006-08-16 10:07 ldirectord.in
drwxr-xr-x 4096 2006-08-24 16:14 logrotate.d/
-rwxr-xr-x 1187 2005-07-29 15:32 supervise-ldirectord-config
-rw-r--r-- 1894 2003-03-24 10:08 supervise-ldirectord-config.8

The README doesn't say anything about how to build / find / install the
ldirectord executable; it just has a command to create the documentation
which results in an error:

$ pod2man --section=8 ldirectord > ldirectord.8
Can't open ldirectord for reading: No such file or directory

Clearly it wants to build the docs from the executable script, but I can't
work out where to get the executable script from.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I've run out of ideas for where to
look (yes, I've checked the mailing list archives going back a couple of
months), and there are so few files in the CVS checkout that I'm sure I must
be doing something which is just basically wrong.

Please can someone help :) ?

Antony.
