My problem is that clients in two sites i different city's are getting their

Other sites including the site I'm in does not have this problem, my
FIN_WAIT's from my PC times out just fine.

Let's see - you have one LVS all in one spot; you have clients at several sites; clients at two sites are producing the fin_wait problem - these two sites have cisco gear (or have something other than cicso gear - I can't tell which from the posting); clients elsewhere are not having problems.

If so, thanks to manufacturer's of hardware that deliberately breaks the IETF protocols (in order to better serve you) we have a special section of the HOWTO -

Yours is a new problem, I'm sorry to say. Hope you can find a solution. Let us know how you handle it

I'm told by our network guy's that just these two sites are indeed running
different network hardware than our other sites (cisco). Any issus here?
