Hello,

Sorry for the late reply. I don't know if you've received other emails regarding this, but we're all a bit busy with our day-jobs.

we use Loadbalancing with Heardbeat+Loadbalancer on 2 Maschines
and we have 4 Webservers in use.

The Problem now: the ldirector crashes with the Parameter
checkinterval set over 2, checkinterval = 5 crashes always.
Sometimes the ldirector goes out with checkinterval = 2
without log messages in /var/log/ldirectord.log

OS is Debian (testing/unstable).
Linux lb02 2.6.16.1 #1 SMP Fri Mar 31 15:05:14 CEST 2006 i686 GNU/Linux
we use: ldirectord,v 1.77.2.36

There's a newer version out there, which is just not yet packaged for Debian.

is this a Bug ?

Maybe.

what can we do to fix this Problem ?

Could you try if the newest drop of the code still exhibits the problem, and report back if so?

http://www.vergenet.net/linux/ldirectord/download/ldirectord.1.186

#------- LV Config ---------------------
checktimeout = 5
checkinterval = 5
autoreload = yes
quiescent = yes
callback = "/etc/ha.d/resource.d/putcfg"

How does this putcfg look like?

# SRV: edit webserver
virtual = 213.33.66.116:81
        protocol = tcp
        scheduler = wlc
        checktype = connect
        service = https
        real = 172.23.13.116:81 gate 1

There have been fixes with regard to https connection health checking in the newest code. Please try the newest version if possible.

Best regards,
Roberto Nibali, ratz
