Could you share your current diff against 2.6.20.1? It makes it easier to help you.

I tried to attach it to my post but obviously that didn't work, so I put it
up here: http://pastebin.ca/368017

Sigh, I'm currently Windows only, so it's a bit difficult to test your patch ...

... however, could you try removing the CONFIG_IP_NF_NAT_NEEDED ifdef-block from the patch part below?

+#if defined(CONFIG_NF_CONNTRACK) || defined(CONFIG_NF_CONNTRACK_MODULE)
+#include <linux/netfilter.h>
+#include <linux/netfilter_ipv4/ip_conntrack.h>
+#include <linux/netfilter_ipv4/ip_conntrack_core.h>
+#include <linux/netfilter_ipv4/ip_conntrack_helper.h>
+#ifdef CONFIG_IP_NF_NAT_NEEDED
+#include <linux/netfilter_ipv4/ip_nat.h>
+#endif
+#endif

Where for example is the ip_conntrack_find_get() located in the current sources? I'd grep myself, but git is not exactly production ready on Windows yet and www{,2}.kernel.org is dog slow.

If there are other preferred ways of sharing patches etc on the list, please
let me know.

I don't know what happened, but at one point posting patches was limited. You could try posting them inline.
