A certificate is associated with a hostname, not an IP. Multiple certificates requires that the realserver recognise multiple machine/node names. The handling of the IP for the hostname is independant of the certificates, or whether you have separate IPs for each hostname, or whether the multiple IPs are aliases or just regular IPs.
