Subject: | [lvs-users] LVS active passive with NAT - IP used with external systems |

Hi I have an LVS with load balancing in active passive setup, using NAT (one external VIP and other internal VIP). This setup seems to be working well, but now I discovered a problem and need some help from the experts. I have installed one application in one real server that connects to an external system. This external system validates our server by IP address. What I found is that the IP address that the external system sees is the IP address of the load balancer and not the VIP address of the load balancer cluster. Is there any way to force the IP address to be the VIP, in order to work with any of the load balancers, if a loadbalancer switch occurs? Thanks in advance for all your help! Best regards Fernado |
