Or, if you do have quite a few more boxes that need to make requests
to the sites they're hosting themselves, you might want to implement
split DNS with different views for external clients (with resource
records pointing to VIPs) and for the clients on the real server
network with resource records pointing to RIPs.
In Bind9 it's not that much of a hassle really and you'll probably be
done for good with the problem.
