The move to e1000 was abolutely huge. Huge. Like 2x performance gain compared 
to onboard Dell Broadcoms. The InterruptThrottleRate is VERY good if you find 
yourself with high "softirq" CPU usage. The ring buffer change is newer, and I 
don't have as many metrics on it, but it seems to be more of a "oh crap, don't 
drop packets even though you're very busy" change moreso than a direct 
performance impact.
