Thanks for this. I've tested it and it passes the test case with none
of the previous failure modes apparent, new connections can be
switched from one server to the other and back by altering the
weights, no machine lockups or wedged/dropped connections. ipvsadm on
both machines now reports both servers as "Route" rather than one of
them as "Local", as you said, but Jarrod says this is not a concern
for us. Further testing will be ongoing, but as far as I can tell at
the moment, this fixes things for us.
