Hello:
I am trying to set up two load balancers with a shared virtual
IP address. I am using two CentOS 5.5 machines and heartbeat
to manage the virtual IP.
I created /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0:0
on both machines with this content:
DEVICE=eth0:0
BOOTPROTO=static
IPADDR=[Virtual IP]
NETMASK=[Netmask]
ONBOOT=no
I set the ONBOOT to no so they would not come up
automatically.
But, when I restart the secondary (The primary is running)
and do an ifconfig, I see eth0:0 is up and heartbeat
complains:
CRITICAL: Resource IPaddr::[VIP] is active, and should not be!
I checked the ha-debug log and can't see anything else.
Any ideas how to debug this?
Thanks,
Neil
