I have the following set on my linux real server (a www server balanced
by a dedicated LVS load balancer)
net.ipv4.conf.eth0.arp_ignore = 1
net.ipv4.conf.eth0.arp_announce = 2
net.ipv4.conf.all.arp_ignore = 1
net.ipv4.conf.all.arp_announce = 2
Catch is, this is keeping the real server from accepting the GARP from
my clustered firewall if the primary fails over to the secondary. That
updates all the systems so that the cluster IP reflects the new IP of
the current active member.
Any thoughts on how to make the real server ignore arp's EXCEPT for ones
I specify?
Thanks,
