hi: I am trying to startup my lvs cluster , I refer to hoeto doc , it tells me to do this on realserver: ifconfig lo:0 192.168.1.10 netmask 255.255.255.255 broadcast 192.168.1.10 up which 192.168.1.10 is VIP . I want to know what does this command mean ?and what is its use ? If I access VIP ,VIP route my request to realserver ,then realserver reply to me directly or to balance server ? thanks! _______________________________________________ Please read the documentation before posting - it's available at: http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/ LinuxVirtualServer.org mailing list - lvs-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Send requests to lvs-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to http://lists.graemef.net/mailman/listinfo/lvs-users |
