The freebsd LVS port was done by someone else and we don't 
support it here, mainly because no-one on the mailing list 
is familiar with the code. We would be very happy if the 
port worked and was useful.

Almost no-one is using the freebsd port (that we hear of), 
so if you can't contact the author, you'll have to figure
it out yourself I'm sorry.
