Assuming you're using ldirectord to control ipvsadm, use autoreload, then, if weights don't do it for you, you could also just comment out the line of the server in question with a pound (#). This will also pull the server and also take it out of your active server list all together. The lack of an interface for ldirector certainly is my biggest complaint since its deliberately non interactive. However, without it, on a very important cluster, you can easily run into unavailability issues -- the exact purpose of ip virtual server/clustering. good luck! |
