The director has the same throughput/latency with VS-DR as it would if

it's in the performance article on the Documentation page. 

The documentation isn't super well organised, since we're doing this on
our own nickel. New things are added to LVS faster than we can document
them, so the documents are always going to be a shambles I'm afraid.

no, this isn't in the HOWTO but should be

yes, it's described in the HOWTO
