it certainly sounds like something serious could be up. I'd consider it a
top priority if I were you. If nothing else, you're getting charged for
that traffic and your ISP is beginning to dislike you... (not a good thing!)

OK basic setup really.
the VS or loadbalancer has 2 nics.
nic 1 connect to the internat
nic 2 connected to private lan
rs are identical
nic 1 connected to internet. with its own real ip
nic2 connected to private lan
lo:155 is my loopback on the rs servers for the load balanced IP
I applied the hidden patch for my kernal. verified that its configured
in
/proc on both rs's.
here is a paraphrased note from my ISP.
is broadcasting all over the VLAN. Ever since last Monday
afternoon (when I changed the DNS to point to the new servers) we've
seen
significant increases in bandwidth in each port throughout the VLAN. Is
any/all of the servers broadcasting incorrectly or in promiscious mode
and
somehow sending out information throughout the network?
Should i put a switch between us and the rest of the lan?

What does your setup look like topology wise? If your LVS isn't
on a
switch but on a hub, that could explain why your RS's are getting so
much broadcast traffic.
As to your ISP, did you mean "My ISP is seeing a ton of
broadcast
(typically x.x.x.255) from my servers" or "My ISP is seeing a ton of
traffic from my servers"... The latter what you want, but if the former,
then do you have a firewall that you can post some of its logs to us?
