Hmm. Are you absolutely sure you have recompiled (probably do a
"make clean" first) the new, patched kernel, and are running it?
I've never had this kind of trouble unless I forgot to patch and
recompile the kernel. Your other option is to compile LVS into
the kernel (i.e., not as a module), as Wensong describes in the
other reply.
