Hi Joe,

just noticed that the output of `ip route show` has the info I need.

But only for the main table! Just make sure your routing info doesn't vanish in some other route id. But I guess if you're only setting up some local addresses, this should be ok.

If there's a better way, I'd been glad to hear it.

You will need to write a little c-proggy ;)
