Hello

this is my first time with LVS.
I tried LVS-NAT
( one director and one realserver )
This works fine but then i created two namebased virtual server

My director has the IP 10.0.1.13 and 10.0.2.100
and the real server have 10.0.2.200 (gGW 10.0.2.100)

I create DNS records on my internel Bind server
develop IN A 10.0.1.13
develop2 IN CNAME develop

and configuered 2 name based virtual host in the director and pu the
names in the /etc/hosts file

but this works only sometimes for me

Is it possible to use name based virtual hosts with LVS-NAT or must i
use LVS-DR or LVS-TUN ?

( is it possible that the director is the gateway for the RIP if I use
LVS-DR ?)

And maybe someone have experience with a gobal file system like GFS or
Intermezzo.

I will test LVS for some weeks and then build a webserver cluster with
mysql apache and php.

Best Regards
Torsten Rosenberger
