What do your send/expect lines look like in /etc/sysconfig/ha/lvs.cf? What's in your syslog from nanny and pulse?
I'm having a similar issue; some services on my real-servers only bind to the VIP, so they will not respond to requests sent to the RIP. I'm looking for a solution to this problem.
