it's in the HOWTO. One of the *BSDs does it. The implementation was done as an exercise. It isn't supported by the LVS team and it isn't kept up to date with the x86 version of LVS

Also Can there be a mixed setup, like some Realservers on linux some on
Free BSD

the realservers only have to have tcpip. A networked printer can be a realserver
