Assuming you're using DR,
he's using LVS-NAT. There were problems with the ftp helper
a few years ago, that no-one noticed for a long time.
Possibly we have another case of bit rot, but we'd need
two people to have the same problem with a clean setup
before we'd accept it as a real problem
