I recommend you to use the SVN branch 0.9.2 for packaging.

The new version 0.9.2 (to be released next week or so) features important changes: * New config file syntax, expended capability to read keepalived.conf config syntax
* Input validation for every parameter
* Sorry servers
* generic tcp_test with regular expressions checking of the returned strings of the realservers.
* Enhanced status display in the GUI

Do you build the packages from source or from the python installer or by cross packaging from debian package directly to rpm? How can I support you by the packaging procedure?
