- Probably a question for RedHat then. We run LVS on el6 and it works fine with one NIC. We don't run production with only one, but it works if it has to. cman + pacemaker + ldirectord + ipvsadm. David

- Thanks for the reply David. I setup a standalone box for testing so there is no standby LVS. I did setup and it started but on the Redhat LVS there is no services bounded on the VIP. LVS daemons were

- Hi, all How many NICs are required to setup LVS? I am trying to setup LVS on Redhat v6.2 (x86, 64 bit) and was told by Redhat's support that I need two NICs to setup NAT ore direct routing mode LVS.
