Sorry for the wrong documentation in the Readme of ipvs-0.5-2.2.9.
There is no such an option in kernel 2.2.x.

If your real servers run Linux 2.2.x and want to use VS-Tunneling and
VS-DRouting, you apply the VS patch for 2.2.9 on real server too,
then just enable "ip-tunneling" option in "Networking options",
rebuild and install the new kernel.
