Ok. Thanks to everyone that has replied. Let me tell you where I'm at
now....
1. Changed: real=192.168.0.31:80 masq to real=192.168.0.31:80 gate in my
ldirectord.cf file.
There was no change.
2. Upgraded to heartbeat-0.4.8e-1.i386.rpm.
I now get:
[root@lb1 monkey]# ipvsadm -L -n
IP Virtual Server version 0.9.11 (size=4096)
Prot LocalAddress:Port Scheduler Flags
-> RemoteAddress:Port Forward Weight ActiveConn InActConn
TCP 195.50.89.225:80 rr
-> 192.168.0.31:80 Route 1 0 0
-> 127.0.0.1:80 Local 1 0 0
However the redirection does not actually work when I put 195.50.89.225 in a
browser (including browsers on the load balancer itself).
I am getting an interesting error message that seems to point to a problem
with ipvsadm:
>From /var/log/ldirectord.log:
Adding real server: 192.168.0.31:80 (195.50.89.225:80
)
[Wed Sep 13 17:47:50 2000|ldirectord.cf] system(/sbin/ipvsadm -d -t
195.50.89.225:80 -R 127.0.0.1:5080) failed.
I tried upgrading to the new ldirectord beta version, but it was no
different.
If i run it manually, I get:
[root@lb1 monkey]# /sbin/ipvsadm -d -t 195.50.89.225:80 -R 127.0.0.1:5080
setsockopt failed: No such file or directory
No such destination.
I have a feeling this is the same error I may have been getting when I tried
to get RedHat HA server running a couple of days ago.
Any ideas?
Scott
