ssh sessions hanging

Hello all -
Nat cluster is happily serving http & https ( thanks again to all for
clarifying the persistence/cookie stuff!)
I am also testing ssh connections back to the real servers but they seem
to be hanging if left idle for a little while. Anyone have any
suggestions ? They are standard sshd source installs and I don't think
it is a timeout on the daemons themselves.
