cannot use ipvsadm!

Hello,

i patch the kernel 2.2.17 with the least version of LVS ipvs-1.0beta1
but after that ... i use the ipvsadm, it prompt that i had only use the ipvs 0.9.6 that the ipvsadm cannot perform... 

i dunno why, can anybody help?
