Yes, you have to apply the hidden patch which can be found at:

http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/~julian/hidden-2.4.4-1.diff

This problem is fixed in 2.4.4, more or less. You only encounter
problems now during high load. Up to 80Mbit/s -> no problem.

No, just add the hidden patch and wait ... you're running LVS_NAT,
aren't you? So you need absolutely no patching. Your realservers
should run fine out of the box with an unpatched plain vanilla 2.4.4
kernel. Sorry for the confusion:

        LVS_DR : you have to apply the patch mentioned
        LVS_NAT: no patching needed.
