There are 2 reasons for things like this to happen:
- things are made more complicated then necessary
or
- installing requires changes to be done by others
That's how we arrived at the amazing performance of installing one LVS
director in production in 2 months (more exactly replacing a Foundry
with an LVS box, on a network that was incidentally already "LVS-ready")
