hmm I see. Yes it does, but hardly anyone seems to be doing
that so I forget about it.
My experience was that after I ran the config, I could still ssh into the
box.

It enables the director to replyto requests from the outside world.
It doesn't need to do this for the LVS, and so you've added a
security
hole.
