Hello,
I've got two working LVS-DR directors and two real servers. The whole
setup works either with one director or the other -- I haven't gotten it
all wrapped together with heartbeat yet.
Anyways, I have been using Joseph Mack's configure script to set
everything up for LVS (which is awesome, worked very nicely for me,
thanks!). However, in order to let heartbeat do the IP address
takeover, I need rc.lvs_dr to not set up my VIP... Should I just comment
the line that sets up that IP address out of my configure-lvs.pl script?
I was planning on using ldirectord again to my monitoring of the
real-servers (just because it's been working nicely for me on my single
director setup) and then letting heartbeat start and stop ldirectord...
Does this sound like a good plan?
Thanks for any suggestions!
I've been thinking about trying to write a little summary of my setup
once I get it working because it seems like it'd be something that a lot
of people would want to do. :)
Cheers,
Scott
