Sometimes I think that I need RTFM(an Page) tattooed on my forehead.
Just typing vmstat will give you the average since boot, but if I run
'vmstat 1 100' I get:
procs memory swap io system
cpu
r b w swpd free buff cache si so bi bo in cs us
sy id
